A "heat dome" has developed on the East Coast that could send temperatures to 100 degrees in Boston this week. As a result, an extreme heat warning is in effect now through Tuesday for much of Massachusetts.

Boston and New England is in the midst of a three or four day heat wave. Temperatures will raise to the mid and upper 90s with high dew points pushing feels-like temperatures into the 100s.
