Severe winter weather has prompted the United States Postal Service (USPS) to issue delivery warnings for 15 states.

CLEVELAND — With more lake effect snow on the way, the National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Winter Storm Watch for a portion of Northeast Ohio for most of the weekend. The Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 7 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 13) until 1 a.m. Monday (Dec. 15) for the following counties:

On Friday at 7:55 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory valid from Saturday 1 p.m. until Monday 7 a.m. for Mercer, Venango, Forest, Clarion and Jefferson counties.

A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 12:54 a.m. valid from 10 p.m. until Sunday 7 p.m. for Bristol, Plymouth, Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.
