A woman shot by an immigration agent after she allegedly rammed his vehicle on Chicago’s Southwest Side last weekend has been indicted by a federal grand jury, part of a flurry of developments

Chicago police on Saturday arrested a man who allegedly aimed a gun at a woman in a Little Village restaurant parking lot the day federal immigration agents said that someone had shot at them as they ran enforcement raids near the restaurant and surrounding neighborhood Police Department and Cook County court records show.

Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin insists “we aren’t leaving Chicago,” but the feds' immigration campaign is expected to begin winding down. However, one source said they could come back with even greater numbers next March.
