In September 2014, Bobo's partial remains were found in northern Decatur County, and her death was ruled a homicide via a gunshot to the back of the head. [2][3] Six men have been arrested for varying degrees of involvement in the murder. However, only three of the six have been prosecuted. [4]

For those unfamiliar, Holly Bobo disappeared from her Decatur County home in 2011. Six years later, Zach Adams stood trial for murder. Some of Bobo's remains were recovered, but there was no DNA evidence linking Adams to the crime. So Autry's testimony was key to convicting Adams as the killer.

Sept. 2017 – Zach Adams is tried for Holly’s murder along with other charges and is convicted and sentenced to life in prison and consecutive terms of 25 years for aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping. Autry was the prosecution's star witness, detailing Holly’s abduction and death.
