If your shop is short on space, then the Jet 714000 10' Bandsaw will fit the bill. With its quick-release blade tension lever, upper and lower ball-bearing blade guides, a large, tilting cast iron table, and flexible LED work light, it has all the features enjoyed on much larger bandsaws, but in a compact package. Bolt it to your benchtop for shop use, or to the included stand for freestanding use. Either way, it's easy to move from place to place. Features: Compact benchtop design allows for easy transport to different locations. Reinforced steel baseplate can be bolted to your workbench or to the included rigid steel stand. 1/2 HP induction motor easily handles a variety of cutting applications. Poly-V drive belt system maximizes power transfer from motor to blade with minimal vibration. Upper and lower ball bearing blade guides for blade stability. Cast iron table with retractable extension wing for additional support. One-piece welded frame reduces vibration and flex. Oversized, ergonomic knobs for easy, comfortable adjustments. Quick-release blade tension makes changing and re-tensioning the blade fast, easy and consistent. Flexible LED light provides visibility without blocking your line of sight. Aluminum extruded fence ensures smooth sliding action. Table tilting trunnion lets you cut bevels from 0° to 45°. Magnifying cursor enlarges measurement scale for precise fence location. Rack and pinion blade guide adjustment with integrated locking knob for precise height control. Blade site window lets you easily monitor the blade tracking.
