Convertible to Duct-Free Ventilation: Allows a downdraft cooktop to be placed nearly anywhere in the kitchen using a duct-free conversion kit (not included). This filters and recirculates the air without running ductwork, ideal for kitchens with installation restrictions or ducting limitations. Electronic Ignition: Automatically lights burners so no standing pilot light is needed. Product Features: With the 300 CFM exhaust this cooktop can handle the venting requirements of high temperature cooking like stir frying or pan searing. 3 speed fan setting gives you optional speeds for the type of cooking you are doing The 17,000 BTU Professional burner provides the heat necessary for almost all high temperature cooking methods while also being able to go to a safe simmering The 15,000 BTU burner is capable of getting to the high temperatures required to boil liquids at fast speeds and is also great for pan searing. With this products low power burner it is ideal to melt chocolate or butter, even poach eggs Electronic Ignition and re ignite will re light the burner if it goes out automatically With the LP kit (included) you can convert your cooktop to liquid propane if preferred The full width cast iron grates make it easier to move items across the cooktop and give the surface a nice seamless look.
