The Lockheed P-38 Lightning served the US Army in World War II. Recognizable by its distinctive twin boom/central nacelle design, the P-38 was nicknamed the ‘fork-tailed devil’ by axis pilots. Used both as a long-range fighter and fighter/bomber, the P-38 was instrumental in many important WWII missions. These amazingly detailed do-it-yourself models start out as three square steel sheets. After you follow the detailed instructions, it turns into an attractive 3D model of the Lockheed P-38 Lightning. Model is 5.67" L x 7.95" W x 3.15" H  when completed.  These models require patience and attention to detail, but are a fun project for anyone that loves aviation.  Ages 14 .Keep away from children, small pieces present a choking hazard.
