These plants are imported from South East Asia and have been approved by USDA. This natural pond plant improves water quality by oxygenating and removing excess nutrients from pond water. Helps neutralize algae. Please be mindful that aquatic plants will always carry a risk of snails so do not order if they are a concern Can be untied and left to float or can be placed at the bottom of the pond with the attached zinc alloy metal strip. Small fish and invertebrates can hide in its foliage from predators, do not use the metal strip if you have sensitive inverts. Resilient to cold weather and very easy to grow One bunch per square foot of pond area is recommended. Shipped USPS from California Anacharis is the most popular of the submerged oxygenating pond plants. It is a fast growing submerged plant that competes with algae for nutrients, helping keep the water clean and clear. Use one bunch for every 2-4 square feet of surface area. It is not necessary to plant Anacharis, simply attach weights to the bunch of plants and they will sink to the bottom of the pond and grow towards the surface.
