Sanders Blue Himalayan Cedar is a beautiful and striking specimen tree with a graceful pyramidal habit, near-horizontal branches and weeping tips. It grows rapidly to be 12 feet tall within 10 years, ultimately reaching 50 feet, with a broad, rounded crown. This is one of the bluest of all cedars, with bright powder-blue new growth turning silvery steel-blue for the rest of the year. Grow it as a spectacular lawn specimen, alone or in a group; grow it in the corner of your yard, or plant in a row for screening. - The bluest of the blue cedars - bright powder-blue spring growth - Spectacular specimen tree with pyramidal habit and weeping branch tips - Fast-growing, at least 12 inches a year - Grows well in all soils and in urban conditions too - Cold resistant all through zone 6 Full sun will give the best color to Sanders Blue Himalayan Cedar, which grows in almost all well-drained soils, from sand to clay, and acid to alkaline.
